As you can see from the Family Photo our home has grown into quite the zoo… sporting 4 dogs (plus one Christmas foster dog – friends were out the country and he needed a home for 3 weeks), two chameleons, a bunny and a cockatiel. The kids love all the bustle and all pitch in with the pet care, and Ouma and Oupa enjoy the entertainment!
We had a lovely December at home, enjoying precious family time and catching up on odd-jobs around the house. It was very peaceful and restful. Today, the woodshop opens up and this week we have our annual Apostolic Oversight conference with our ministry team and ordained pastors in the North. An interesting year is ahead of us, as we prepare to respond to needs around us with the resurrection power of Christ within us.
We pray your year is filled with opportunity to declare God’s goodness and touch people for eternity. We pray a special revelation of His love for you to be made real in your life, that you may know Him, and the power of His resurrection.
Thank you for your love and support in 2019!
God bless you ~ Chris and Debs,

Four Peace Corps volunteers spent Christmas with us – it was great fun to get to know them and be family for those who are far from home and giving so much of themselves for Mozambique.
The last Saturday of the year Muzuane Wa Yesu had a baptism service on the beach – it was very moving to see so many young men openly make this declaration in the face of much disapproval from family and friends of Muslim belief.
Álvaro and Nazarena are settled into their home together on campus. It is a joy to see the desires of their hearts realised.
Crazy bunch of students! — with Pedro Carlos Vasco at Afrika Wa Yesu Vocational Centre.
