Serving People Around the World
We work with partners locally and globally, building relationships and sharing God’s grace. We dedicate time, talents and finances to alleviate human suffering, bring justice and reconcile people to a relationship with God the Father through His Son Jesus. You can help by praying for these ministries, supporting them financially and volunteering for local ministries.
CFM is a registered non-profit missions and welfare organization in the Philippines and Germany. The different projects and local co-workers are supported through donations from partners and friends. We appreciate and are thankful for your prayers and financial help.
As a ministry…we’ve been working in the Philippines now for over 30 years ~ but these are only foundation years. This foundation is one which has been tested & tried. Upon this strong foundation we believe that God will continue to build magnificently in the days ahead & we are up for this challenge! We want to bring glory to Jesus Christ in all we do! Our God is limitless and we dare to dream big with Him.
Our strategy is to mobilize an individual’s and community’s own creativity in order to overcome the challenges faced, using the resources available to them.
Our Purpose is to relieve suffering and rebuild livelihood of families.

The group focuses on different ministries in Haiti. The team helps children in orphanages and schools, also highlighting medical needs and building projects. The Haiti Mission Team works year round planning and fundraising to help with a yearly feeding program, clothing, shoes, school supplies, and personal/medical care items.
The goals of the Haiti Mission Team for 2016 is:
to reach as many as possible and to raise $200,000.00 plus collect supplies.
The team eagerly shares God’s love while providing food and basic supplies.
The Haiti Mission Team started in 2003
With 2 adults and a small group of teenagers. They worked with 1 orphanage comprised with 100 children. In 2016, the plan is to send 6 teams made up of over 90 people, helping over 1,000 children. Each year, the Haiti Mission Team grows larger and allows us to help more and more ministries in Haiti.
The amount of help that Haiti needs is unimaginable to most.
Haiti is ranked 19th as poorest country in the world,
and ranked 1st as the poorest country in the Western
Hemisphere. Haiti has the highest mortality rate for children.
The people of Haiti need our help. These people
live without the basic necessities if not for people
like YOU who want to make a difference.
What Can You Do About It?
There are three ways you can help our Haiti ministry.
• Pray for the safety of the teams and the ministry of the Holy Spirit as they share God’s love in ways small and large.
• Donate supplies that the orphanages and schools still need.
• Give financially to help cover the overall costs of the ministry or give financially to help individual team members raise the funds necessary for their airfare and travel expenses.
You can donate financially or donate something from the list of supplies that we are still collecting. On the donation page you will have the opportunity to choose how much to donate and whether you want to designate the gift toward the expenses of a specific missionary or the whole team.
Crisis Aid started by providing 2 pound bags of rice to people in South Sudan. Our work quickly evolved to serve people in crisis living in 11 different countries. Together with our partners, we have provided 11.2 million pounds of food to 1.8 million adults and malnourished children, rescued more than 540 girls from sex trafficking, and more.
Today Crisis Aid concentrates efforts in East Africa and the United States serving children and families who are in crisis situations. Whether it be famine, disease, natural disaster, or sex trafficking, Crisis Aid is there.
SAVING LIVES, SAVING SOULS AND CHANGING FUTURES.
We are committed to “helping the helpless” with relief efforts both locally and globally, equipping those who are beyond the crisis to take responsibility by providing programs which train, inspire and move them to independent, self-sustained living.
Serving missionaries around the world since 1984
The purpose of Missionary Companion Ministries is to further the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in response to the Lord’s command to go into all the world. To this end, we are dedicated to helping those who have responded to the call of God upon their lives for ministry in places throughout the world.
Missionary Companion Ministries has as its function the aiding of ministries (people in ministry) who work cross-culturally, at home and abroad. Our goal is to facilitate ministry. To experience the call of God upon one’s life and respond by going to the foreign field is a worthy task and one that merits the utmost attention, encouragement and backing. Our desire is to help in such a way as to maximize, to the best of our ability, the potential of brethren working to obey the call of God, and in doing so, minimize the casualties which occur from inexperience, lack of preparation, unexpected pressures and added burdens which arise from being among different cultures, languages and peoples.
In short, we will do what we can to make it possible for you to carry out the calling that God has placed in your heart. We look for ways of aiding the furthering of the Gospel instead of placing barriers that can hold you back.
Pioneers provides training, logistical support and oversight to missionaries around the world, including Sarah Haas (left).
Pioneeer Missionary Sarah Haas grew up at Grace, took her first trips to the Amazon as a college student and continued spending summers in the jungle after becoming a high school teacher in Stockton, MO.
Sarah loved teaching and ministering to her high school students, but in 2017 she said goodbye to her students in Stockton so she could bring the gospel to adults and kids in Peru. “I believe in planting churches, honoring indigenous cultures and empowering locals to transform society,” Sarah says. “But these catchphrases are dead without the presence of Jesus — and that’s why I’m going: because no social program is going to save the world, but the grace of King Jesus absolutely is.”
Founders Rod & Ellie Hein, ministering in Mozambique since 1981, starting Afrika wa Yesu Bible School under a tree in the remote Inhaminga region of central Mozambique. The vision to reach Mozambique for Christ has grown phenomenally and continues to increase.
We now have two Spirit empowered Bible Schools in both Inhaminga and Nacala, where we also have a Vocational Centre, equipping and training men in basic work skills. Working together as a powerful team of Mozambican and international missionaries, we are reaching souls through evangelism and church planting.
Teaching and training Mozambican pastors and leaders to reach their own nation is a vital purpose of this ministry. Business Skills Training with carpentry is offered at Nacala Vocational Training School.
Afrika wa Yesu is a team-focused ministry, running in the strength and joy that unity brings. While soul winning is our primary purpose, we also run a dental clinic with a mobile unit reaching into the villages where the only dentist is the witch doctor.
The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.” For over 40 years, Samaritan’s Purse has done our utmost to follow Christ’s command by going to the aid of the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. We are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns us a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
As our teams work in crisis areas of the world, people often ask, “Why did you come?” The answer is always the same: “We have come to help you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Our ministry is all about Jesus—first, last, and always. As the Apostle Paul said, “For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake” (2 Corinthians 4:5, NIV).
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Two Tunics exist to address the needs created by the dual epidemics of HIV/AIDS and poverty in Africa. We are a group of people who’s lives have been changed by faith in Jesus Christ and feel called to love people as we serve Him.
Who We Are
For more than 70 years, Wycliffe has helped people around the world translate the Bible into their own languages. We also help with language development, literacy and other spiritual and physical needs.
How We Started
In 1917 a missionary named William Cameron Townsend went to Guatemala to sell Spanish Bibles. But he was shocked when many people couldn’t understand the books. They spoke Cakchiquel, a language without a Bible. Cam believed everyone should understand the Bible, so he started a linguistics school (the Summer Institute of Linguistics, known today as SIL) that trained people to do Bible translation. The work continued to grow, and in 1942 Cam officially founded Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Over the following decades, Wycliffe celebrated many milestones — from the first translation completed in 1951, all the way to the 500th translation completed in 2000. Around the same time, Wycliffe adopted a new challenge — a goal of starting a Bible translation project in every language still needing one by 2025.
In 1999, our leaders realized that at the speed we were going, it would be at least 2150 before a Bible translation could be started for every language that needed one.
As they thought about the people dying around the world every day without hearing the Good News of the gospel, they felt God calling them to adopt a new goal for accomplishing this mission.
Our leaders committed that we would do everything we could to see a Bible translation program in progress in every language still needing one by 2025. We initially called this goal “Vision 2025,” although we later adopted the words as our mission statement.
Today, up to 1,800 languages are still waiting for a Bible translation to begin, and Wycliffe is working faster than ever to reach those languages as soon as possible.
Our Heart is for Children
Bethany Christian Services is a global nonprofit organization that brings families together and keeps families together. Strengthening families for the well-being of children is our top priority. Our services include adoption, foster care, and pregnancy counseling. We also provide counseling to families, assist refugees and immigrants resettling in the U.S., and partner with several international countries to help keep families together. The work we do equips families to be the answer for children in need—as Christ intended.
Why We Do What We Do
God loves children and so do we. Every child deserves a loving family—that’s where children thrive best—but so many children don’t have this blessing. At Bethany, we believe a loving family is a simple, proven, lasting answer to a child’s needs.
Our mission is to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by protecting and enhancing the lives of children and families through quality social services.
In the hope that we will bring glory to God in everything we do, we focus on three core values:
Integrity – Make decisions that are consistent with Biblical principles.
Impact – Go above and beyond.
Innovation – Be dedicated to improvement.
A Full-Service Agency that is Fully Accredited
Bethany is reviewed by the Council of Accreditation on a regular basis to receive its reaccreditation. The accreditation process is designed to identify providers that have set high performance standards for themselves and have made a commitment to their constituents to deliver the highest quality services. COA continually recognizes Bethany Christian Services as one of these outstanding providers.
When we let the word of God take hold of a child, God will do the rest.
Far too many of American’s children have been robbed of their childhood because of the effects of drugs, alcohol, abuse, and neglect. Camp Penuel was established to bring joy, hope, and the fulfillment of knowing the love of Jesus into these lives. So far we have ministered to over 82,000 little ones. Now God has expanded our outreach to include three campuses. They are located in Ironton, Missouri; Eldred, Pennsylvania; and Esparaza, Costa Rica.
Penuel means “face of God”. It is taken from Genesis 32, where Jacob wrestled with the angel and met God face to face. We want children to meet God face to face at Camp Penuel.
When we let the word of God take hold of a child, God will do the rest. Our role is to give opportunity to every child, opportunity to fail, opportunity to try again, opportunity to express their artistic talents – singing, drama, drawing, writing, picking up things off the ground and making a bookmark, etc., opportunity to accept the love of Christ in their life. Given that OPPORTUNITY, I believe that ALL children who receive Christ in their life will be successful, and will fulfill the God-given purpose for which they were created!
Helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others; and helping the Body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship
Win, build, and send Christ-centered multiplying disciples who launch spiritual movements
Movements everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus
Faith, Growth, and Fruitfulness
Campus Outreach, founded in 1978 by Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama, is a network of interdenominational ministries targeting strategic college campuses in the United States and throughout the world.
As you navigate through our site, you will quickly learn that Campus Outreach is a ministry built on relationships. It is through these life-on-life relationships that college students come to know Christ, mature in their relationship with Him, and share their lives and faith with others through evangelism and discipleship.
The influence of Campus Outreach does not end at graduation. The success of our vision is measured best by the students who carry the vision of reaching the lost world with them after college. Our prayer is that alumni will continue to grow in their relationship with God, share their faith with the lost, and continue the process of discipling others.

During the fall of 2008, our founder, Deidre was exposed to a documentary on human sex-trafficking. This film discussed the issue both abroad and then locally to the United States. Deidre was pierced by the reality of trafficking happening in our country and was heartbroken that there were very few resources available for today’s young survivors. From there The Covering House was born.
We provide housing, counseling, group therapy and tutoring. We also have a risk prevention program helping young children.
Crown Financial Ministries is a nondenominational, evangelical Christian ministry with the stated mission of equipping servant leaders to live by God’s design for their finances, work and life … to advance transformation.
Helping Families Thrive
Focus on the Family is a global Christian ministry dedicated to helping families thrive. We provide help and resources for couples to build healthy marriages that reflect God’s design, and for parents to raise their children according to morals and values grounded in biblical principles.
We’re here to come alongside families with relevance and grace at each stage of their journey. We support families as they seek to teach their children about God and His beautiful design for the family, protect themselves from the harmful influences of culture and equip themselves to make a greater difference in the lives of those around them.
No matter who you are, what you’re going through or what challenges your family may be facing, we’re here to help. With practical resources – like our 1-800 Family Help line, counseling and websites – we’re committed to providing trustworthy, biblical guidance and support.
Gateway House of Prayer is a missions base that ministers to the Lord and partners with Him in day and night worship and prayer to prepare the earth for the return of Jesus.
At the Gateway HOP, we are seeking to establish a House of Prayer that functions as a perpetual solemn assembly, by gathering believers from across denominations and generations in St. Louis to corporately engage in on-going, unified worship, prayer and fasting in the Spirit of the Tabernacle of David. All are welcome to join us.
The Campus Is Our Mission Field
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is a vibrant campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty. We minister to students and faculty through small group Bible studies, large gatherings on campus, leadership training, thoughtful discipleship and life-changing conferences and events.
Why the Campus?
Today’s university shapes tomorrow’s leaders. In the university, women and men are encouraged to pursue truth, often without regard for God, and to pursue personal goals, often without concern for a higher purpose.
InterVarsity longs to see education lead to a lifetime of Christian worship and service. We believe that when students and faculty are transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, their campus is transformed, and ultimately society as a whole comes to more closely reflect the priorities of the kingdom of God. That is why we invest ourselves in the lives of students and faculty, wherever they are on their spiritual journey.
Kingdom Strikes is an outreach whose core mission is to spread the gospel to the city of St. Louis. We meet at Grace every Thursday evening to pray for guidance before taking to the streets in hopes of planting seeds and winning souls to Christ.
Our emergency shelter program has three specific objectives: 1) to place our clients in transitional or permanent housing; 2) to connect our residents with the services and resources they need to overcome debilitating conditions; 3) to refer our clients to the appropriate career placement programs to aid in future financial stability.
This program is a 60-day program that provides our resident families with all the opportunities they need in order to regain self-sufficiency for themselves and their children. Loaves and Fishes is an on-site 24-hour emergency shelter that is open 365 days a year. We provide each family with laundry facilities, showers, hygiene products, placement into permanent or transitional housing, on-site weekly visits from a registered nurse, a children’s counselor, a mental health provider, individualized case management, budgeting classes, a peer support group and referrals into vital programs, including drug and alcohol rehabilitation. St. Louis County has estimated that over 400 individuals per month are turned down for shelter services in the county due to lack of bed space. This unfortunate reality makes our beds critical in our efforts to alleviate homelessness.
Five days a week Loaves and Fishes opens it’s food pantry doors to less fortunate, low-income families and individuals. Patrons of our food pantry not only receive canned and dry goods, but also fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy products and eggs to help minimize their weekly grocery expenses.
The food pantry operates Monday through Friday and serves the greater St. Louis area.
LOVEtheLOU, a non-profit developed out of love for the city of St. Louis, works to see our city restored through transforming actions.

Who is NLEC?
New Life Evangelistic Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) church center comprised of over 50 paid and unpaid staff members and countless volunteers, all dedicated to providing effective support for the poor and homeless in Saint Louis and beyond. Founded by Rev. Larry and Penny Rice, NLEC has been headquartered at 1411 Locust Street in Saint Louis since 1972, with other centers in Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas and Kansas.
NLEC Mission: The mission of New Life Evangelistic Center (NLEC) is to provide Christian hospitality and respect for life through the services of food, clothing, shelter, education, and job training programs, as well as physical, mental and spiritual health care, to the poor and homeless in Saint Louis and beyond.
NLEC Values: New Life Evangelistic Center has founded its values on the love of Jesus Christ for all people, and especially for all who suffer from poverty, homelessness, addictions and abuse. NLEC holds the following values in highest regard: empathy, advocacy, empowerment, dignity, responsibility, faith, hope, and love.
Who is NLEC? You are! You are indeed a valued member of NLEC through your prayers and faithful support.
Who we serve
We serve people in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas and around the world. The New Life Evangelistic Center provides over 150,000 meals and sandwiches, and more than 65,000 nights of emergency overnight shelter every year. We provide 80,000 social service contacts — helping individuals and families throughout mid-America with clothing and food through our free stores, fans, blankets, utility assistance, transportation, medical assistance and housing assistance. The millions of people we serve in the Midwest and around the world include homeless men, women and children, the poor, elderly and families in our communities overwhelmed by the need to provide the basic necessities, and earthquake and hurricane survivors. New Life Evangelistic Center has branches in India and Africa and has long-standing partnerships with organizations in more than 10 countries.
Why we serve
The spirit of God moves us into action to provide direct services of shelter, food, clothing, and job training. Motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, we serve alongside the poor and oppressed as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people.
NLEC knows: The best way to fight homelessness is to stop it before it starts. When someone’s housing status is jeopardized by a crisis situation, such as a job loss, utility disconnection, or the threat of eviction, NLEC intervenes to help prevent homelessness.
When families and individuals do become homeless, NLEC seeks to foster and fulfill their own motivation to help themselves. When clients show this desire, NLEC equips them with job training, addiction counseling, spiritual guidance, and whatever else they might need to become permanently housed and gainfully employed.
Homeless Empowerment and Education:
NLEC’s unique on-the-job training program not only benefits the homeless, but also the community as a whole. Regular renewable energy fairs, where the formerly homeless trainees share renewable energy skills they learn, have introduced thousands throughout the Midwest to the world of renewable energy. Through Missouri Renewable Energy and the Here’s Help Radio and TV network, staffed by the formerly homeless, educational and informational programming is reaching more people. And, the new nationwide Renewable Energy Satellite network will teach sustainable living, renewable energy, gardening and much more — providing even more opportunities.
Sunshine Ministries was founded in 1903 as a soup kitchen and homeless shelter. Today the ministry continues to offer shelter to homeless men in St. Louis, but we are so much more!
Our services now include addiction recovery programs for men as well as outreach to the women and youth in our inner-city neighborhood.
All of our programs are designed to provide training and opportunities in which men, women and children can learn to be responsible, productive, self-supporting individuals with a healthy self-image of who God created them to be and how He has equipped them to live a purposeful life.
The focus of the ministry’s outreach is on the quality rather than the quantity of the services provided. With a desire to help those who truly want to help themselves, our goal is to offer a hand up rather than a hand out to those we serve.
The work of Sunshine Ministries is made possible by many faithful donors who want to share in our mission of transforming lives and awakening hope in the hearts of the neediest amongst us.
Adult & Teen Challenge provides Christian faith-based, residential care to young people and adults who struggle with life-controlling problems.
The programs are typically 12-18 months and consist of Bible studies, work projects, education (for adolescents), recreation and more. Many aspects of the program differ slightly between centers, such as cost, application processes, and day-to-day activities.
ThriVe St. Louis – a Christ-centered organization that empowers people to make life-affirming and healthy decisions about sex, pregnancy and relationships.
Organizational Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
