Well, this is the first day that I have actively sought direction through Grace Church.  I became a Christian when I was away at college, so now I have been trying to find a good church here at home (and I have been trying VERY hard to encourage my family to search with me).  However, it's been a somewhat difficult journey; but once I heard about Grace Church, I knew that we would like it there.  This morning, my mom and I woke up and got ready for service.  I was so excited!  My dad insisted on going to work, as he usually does on weekend mornings.  My mom and I got there at 10 (thinking, for some reason, that that's when service began) so we were surprised to find ourselves right in between church times.  Plus, since I had already planned a lunch with my friend noon, we decided we were out of luck this weekend.  :(  I must admit, I was pretty disappointed.  I tried to reschedule the lunch meeting, but it was a no-can-do.  So, I came home and desperately looked up classes and groups that Grace churchgoers belong to--and lo and behold--there are so many!  I want to try them all out!  Well, the ones that meet my criterion (I, being a single 20-year-old, probably shouldn't attend marriage groups or anything like that).  But I am certainly hoping that I will be able to make it to many of these groups throughout the week and make some new friends in the process!  Hope to see you all there!
