We at Grace are a family. OK, we are a disfunctional family. But that is what the Church of Jesus Christ is all about. We are disfuntional people growing daily to be functional. We may have differences about little things, but we are all related by Blood and that is what really counts..

I define "religion" as any attempt on the part of human beings to improve or enhance their relationship with God on the basis of what they do and produce - their religious performance. On this basis, "religion" is opposed to true Christianity.

This guy a long time ago named Pascal thought up something that's now known as Pascal's Wager.

He said that if God exists, he'd better believe in him, because if he didn't believe, he'd be in trouble.

And if God doesn't exist, then it doesn't hurt him to believe in Him while he's alive, so he might as well believe in God.

Do you get it? Either way, it makes sense to believe in God.

The message of this and every Easter is "Resurrection" - Jesus Christ
died and then came back from the dead. But Easter is not just a
celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. It should be, for every
Christian, a celebration of the Resurrection of YOU! When Jesus came
alive and stepped out of the tomb, SO DID YOU! You became a new
creature in Christ - a part of a whole new human species in a living
union with the indwelling Jesus Christ.

There is some discussion about the indwelling of the Spirit, as taught
in the New Testament. There are times when we read that Jesus lives his
risen life in us (Galatian 2:20; Colossians 1:27); and other passages
(Romans 8:9-11, 14,16) seem to favor the role of the Holy Spirit living
his life in us.
